Training Day

The Training Day will take place on January 27, 2026, at Room 2.8 (Campus Auga building). It will consist of two focused sessions:

Morning session (09:30 – 13:00) – Practical session for USERS: learn how to set up and run simulations in DualSPHysics using both the command line and the graphical interface DesignSPHysics. Lead lecturer: Aaron English

Afternoon session (14:30 – 18:00) – Practical session for DEVELOPERS: learn how to modify, compile, and extend the DualSPHysics source code. Lead lecturers: Iván Martínez-Estévez & Orlando García-Feal

When registering for the Workshop, participants can indicate whether they wish to attend the Training Day, and select one or both sessions. Attendance at any Training Day session is free of charge for registered Workshop delegates.

All activities will be carried out on Windows OS.Workstations with all required software will be available, but participants may also bring their own laptops. Please ensure the following software is installed in advance:
