How to reach Parma:

 

By car:

  • Highway A1 – Milan – Bologna: Exit “Parma” (city center), follow signs “Centro”

  • Highway A15 Parma – La Spezia: Exit “Parma Ovest”, follow signs “Centro”

Attention: The city center is a restricted Traffic Area (ZTL) with entrance controlled by electronic devices. Near the center there are convenient public parkings. For more information check www.infomobility.pr.it

The nearest parkings are:

  • Central Parking Repubblica, Largo Paul Harris, 548 parking lots. Parking is located in the mall Barilla Center.

  • D.U.C., Viale Antonio Fratti 2, 280 parking lots. The car park is 10 minutes walk from Garibaldi Square.

  • D.U.S., Viale Mentana 99/a, 144 parking lots . The car park is 10 minutes walk from Garibaldi Square.

  • Goito, Via Goito. 778 parking lots. The park is 5 minutes walk from Garibaldi Square.

  • Toschi, Via Toschi 2/g, 951 parking lots . Parking is located 8 minutes by walk from Garibaldi Square.


By Train:

From the train station to the center of Parma:
   Taxi: Taxi Radio Parma – 0521 25 25 62, www.taxiparma.com
   By walk: in 20 minutes you arrive in Piazza Garibaldi, the heart of the city of Parma (Garibaldi Square).

 

By Plane:


You can get to Parma by flying to:

  1. Orio Al Serio (BGY – low cost flights), www.sacbo.it

  3. Bologna – BLQ, www.bologna-airport.it
  4. Milano Malpensa – MPX, www.milanomalpensa-airport.com

And then taking train to Parma from Milano Centrale, or Bologna Centrale railway stations.
 

HOW TO REACH THE UNIVERSITY CAMPUS (Centro Congressi S. Elisabetta):

  • By bus: from the town center (Viale Mariotti - Piazza Ghiaia) or from the train station: you can get the bus line 7, 14 or 21 (direction Università Sud), and get off at the last stop. Travel time is approximately 20 minutes. Tickets can be purchased at any tobacconist or newspaper kiosk or directly on board by paying a small surcharge.
  • By taxi: you can get a taxi in Piazza Garibaldi or call one from your hotel (phone number: +39 0521 252562).
  • By car: At the exit of Parma – Center, Highway A1, keep right and take Viale Europa. Continue for approximately 1.5 km and and then, on your right, take the freeway in the direction of Milan, Piacenza. Continue towards Milan until you see the sign Exit 11-19. Take this turn and the exit for the University Campus (indicated however with the classic symbol of the toga) is n. 15. Keeping the right you’ll see a commercial center Campus on your right and enter the Campus gate.
